Universities Scotland (2006,2010)

The Race Equality Toolkit is a tool created by Universities Scotland to assist academic staff, particularly those less familiar with race equality issues, to embed issues of race equality and of fostering good relations as part of learning, teaching and curriculum design.

Universities Scotland opted to make this new revised and updated version available exclusively online, saving on the economic and environmental costs of print.

We were excited to be called back in to improve upon our original 4 year old design. We used the opportunity to develop a site that took advantage of the very latest web technologies such as HTML5, allowing us to create more semantic mark up. The navigation and the layout of the entire site has also been improved to offer the readers an intuitive and effortless experience.

The site is WCAG AA approved, complying wih all priority 1, 2, and most priority 3 guidelines of the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0.
